Here are the amp settings for the Engl soundclips, and covers (without backing tracks): Channel 1: Pre-shape engaged, Bright engaged, Gain: 3, Crunch Gain: 7.5, Crunch boost engaged, Bass: 5, Mid: 7, Treble: 8, Treble Balance (engaged): 2, Clean Volume: 4, Crunch volume: 3. Main Channel 2: Gain: 10, Lead Gain: 10, Lead Boost Disengaged, Bass: 9, Mid: 9, Treble: 6, Treble Balance: 4. Crunch 2 Volume: 2, Lead Volume: 2. Master Volume: 2. Presence A: 7, with depth boost engaged. Presence B: 4, with depth boost disengaged. When used, reverb on main channel 1 is at 7, on main channel 2, 5. I also used a Digitech Digidelay for some of the recordings. I didn't touch the knobs at all for any of the recordings- each tone I got is footswitchable (with the exception of songs being done in half power or full power, that isn't footswitchable), so that should show you the versatility of the Engl Savage SE.
I changed the settings on the crunch 2 and lead channels by decreasing the treble and presence a little, for the covers with backing tracks.
The guitar being used is a basswood MIJ Ibanez RG470, with Swineshead pickups: Bridge Warthog, Middle Spotlight, and Neck Condor.
Cab being used is a Laney TT412A angled cab, with 4 Celestion Vintage 30 Speakers.
A few notes on the Savage SE:
Rough and smooth: on th crunch 2 and lead channels, there's a footswitchable rough/smooth switch- rough is metal (treble and bass increased, mids cut) and smooth is better for rock and solos (mids boosted, treble cut).
Triode (half power) versus Pentode (full power): Triode sounds sweeter, and pentode sounds better for high gain metal.
Presence A and B: two footswitchable presences, each with a corresponding depth boost button- I use presence A (at 7) with depth boost engaged for metal, and presence B (at 4) with the depth boost disengaged, for most other things.
Phew!

The Epiphone Valve Junior clips were played with my Semi-Hollow Patrick Eggle Vienna Prototype, Mahogany Body and Neck with Maple Top. All clips go from Bridge pickup, for the first song, to the in-between setting (both pickups on) for the second song, to the neck pickup for the third song. I also switch between full humbucking and split modes in each song, it should be pretty obvious which is which, as there's a big gain increase when it's in full humbucking mode.
